In collaboration with Guilford County Schools, Greensboro Opera presents a fully-staged opera for Guilford County fifth graders at the elegant downtown Carolina Theatre. The logistics of accommodating over 6,000 youngsters, who attend one of several morning performances during a three-day run, are expertly handled by our support group, Opera Companions. This collaboration also offers opportunities for Triad university singers, conductors, and musicians studying at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels to gain experience performing opera in the Carolina Theatre.
