Opera at the Carolina
The Greensboro Opera Company brings state-of-the-art quality Opera to every fifth grade student in Guilford County. Every spring, the GOC presents six fully-staged performances with 6,000 students from public, private and parochial schools attending a 90-minute performance at the Carolina Theatre.
Operalogue
Operalogue is an interesting and informative lecture by an artistic director, a music critic or a university professor prior to the fall and winter operas. The presentations begin promptly at 7 p.m. on Fridays and 1 p.m. on Sundays in the upper lobby of the War Memorial Auditorium. Long-time subscribers as well as first-time ticket holders enjoy an exciting presentation while learning more about the composers, cast and crew of the upcoming performance.
