For all opera enthusiasts: UNC-Greensboro School of Music graduate students will present an afternoon program of opera scenes on Saturday, August 28 at 4.30 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the School of Music. You are cordially invited to enjoy scenes from Steven Sondheim's Sweeney Todd, Donizetti's Maria Stuarda, Charpentier's Louise, Moore's The Ballad of Baby Doe, Mozart's Don Giovanni and Die Zauberflöte (The Magic Flute). The program features many young artists who have performed with Greensboro Opera on the main stage and in outreach programs, as well as in Opera at the Carolina productions. Admission is gratis. Show your support of our local talent!

This is your chance to sing with members of your favorite Greensboro choral ensemble and to learn how Dr. Young elicits the exquisite sounds that are the hallmark of every Bel Canto Company concert.

Treat yourself to a day of great music making! You will learn some of the "secrets" of Bel Canto's signature sound while singing several familiar choral arrangements such as "The Lord Is My Shepherd" from John Rutter's Requiem and Craig Courtney's "Silent Night", a perennial favorite of Bel Canto Company audiences.
- All levels of singing experience are welcome
- Participate in 3 rehearsals
- Sing with 2 or more Bel Canto Company singers per section
- Join us for lunch and a Q & A session with Dr. Young and the singers
- Invite your friends and family to the free concert at the end of the workshop
- Hear Bel Canto Company singers give a sneak preview of the fall concert

About Your Opera Tickets and Parking Passes
The Donor ticket renewal window closed August 1. On August 9, seating not yet reserved by Donors for the 2010 production was released to the general public. VIP parking passes at $8 each are available by request while they last. General lot parking passes at $5 are also available by request on a limited basis.
Patrons, Benefactors, Grand Benefactors; Silver Circle and Golden Circle Donors who are planning to attend Opera Evening please note the following:
A VIP parking pass is available to you gratis in place of the motor coaches this season. All ticket orders placed by August 1 were guaranteed a VIP pass. All orders placed after August 1 will be accommodated with a VIP parking pass gratis as long as supplies last.
