Auditions
Greensboro Opera announces auditions for all solo parts in La Bohème on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 from 11 am to 5 pm at the Gail Brower Huggins Performance Center, Odell Memorial Building on the Greensboro College campus at Campus Place and 815 W. Market Street. Minimal parking is adjacent to building and in the highrise apartment building lot on the opposite side of W. Market Street. www.greensborocollege.edu
Please be prepared to sing an aria or arias in Italian by verismo composers such as Puccini, Leoncavallo, Mascagni, Cilea, Giordano, etc. A pianist will be provided by Greensboro Opera or you are welcome to bring your own pianist. Please send your current headshot and resume, showing your current email address, to executivedirector@greensboroopera.org. Your materials will be screened by Artistic Director Valery Ryvkin after which you will be contacted by Greensboro Opera.
Chorus auditions will be announced in late August.
