Executive Director's Note

Dear GO Friends,

This is a reminder to come to Love, Life, Laughter this Sunday evening at 7.30 pm at the recital hall at UNCG's School of Music building. These singers have put together a program of operatic favorites -- duets, arias, ensembles -- with a few surprise selections. They graciously offer their talents as a gift - all proceeds support Greensboro Opera.

$25 suggested contribution at the door. Bring your friends! You'll be able to help 'dress the Diva', purchase 'I love Greensboro Opera' buttons, and enjoy some camaraderie with the artists immediately following the performance.

A domenica sera!

Top 10 reasons to go to Love, Life, Laughter

1. This is a BENEFIT for Greensboro Opera! All donations go directly to the 30th Anniversary Season.

2. PIANIST Benjamin Blozan. He is the fabulous pianist that you've heard at the 2009 and 2010 Annual Meetings. Now come and hear him on Sunday!

3. Opera Companion Claire Kelleher's famous POUND CAKE at the reception following the benefit. You'll get a sweet treat as well as a chance to meet the performers.

4. SOPRANOS Chelsea Bonagura, Stacy Dove, Elizabeth Harvey and Carmen Prather. Four sopranos, four times the fun!

5. If you still haven't DRESSED THE DIVA, you'll be able to on Sunday. And there are so many new colored ribbons to pick from, how will you ever choose?

6. BARITONES Paolo Pacheco and David Weigel. A baritone and a bass-baritone; that leads to some good opera selections on the program!

7. MEZZO SOPRANO JoAna Rusche. What is an evening of opera without a mezzo?

8. Don Pasquale, Le nozze di Figaro, Rusalka, Faust, Die tote Stadt... just some of the fabulous OPERA SELECTIONS you'll be treated to.

9. TENOR Daniel C. Stein. Something tells me we better get ready for some gorgeous duets!

10. What could be better than LIVE OPERA on a Sunday night in Greensboro?
